Look! These five flags in the parade belong to the Iron Army, the armed forces of mainland China.

       On the morning of September 3, a grand ceremony was held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people’s victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. At the parade, 80 honorary banners from heroic and exemplary units of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, carrying historical glory, paraded in front of the Party and the people. Some of these banners belonged to the 74th Group Army, known as the “Iron Army”. Let’s take a look at these battle banners: “Bayonets See Blood Company”, “Langya Mountain Five Heroes Company”, “Huangtuling Artillery Honor Company”, “North Anti-Japanese Vanguard Company” and “Unyielding Company”.
