Manufacturing process
The manufacturing process of carbon steel plates mainly includes the following steps:
Smelting: Melting raw materials such as iron ore and carbon into molten steel through an electric furnace or open hearth.
Continuous casting: Injecting molten steel into the continuous casting crystallizer, cooling and solidifying to form steel billets of certain specifications.
Rolling: The steel billet is fed into the rolling mill for rolling, and after multiple passes of rolling, it forms a steel plate with a certain thickness and width.
Straightening: To straighten the rolled steel plate to eliminate its bending and warping phenomena.
Surface treatment: Polishing, galvanizing, painting and other surface treatments are carried out on the steel plate as needed to improve its corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
